What does living the good life on Lummi Island look and feel like? What are the up and downsides of living here? This site offers glimpses into what it’s like to live on Lummi Island. Articles and photos focus on the Lummi Island community, in the broadest sense of the term: plants, animals, insects, soil, water, air, birds, sea creatures and — oh yes — humans. For better or for worse, we are both interdependent and individuals. Our joys, health, lives and deaths commingle as well as flow in separate streams.
